Lars SAFFE Zerspanungstechnik GmbH is a contract manufacturer of precise metal and plastic components based in Martfeld, Lower Saxony. Its core competence lies in CNC turning and milling of workpieces up to a length of 3 m; turning is performed up to ø 600 mm with a 3 m distance between centres. In addition, wire and sinker EDM, sawing – also as contract sawing on a vertical band saw Behringer LPS-T – as well as the production of ready-to-install parts and assemblies are offered. On a production area of 1,000 m², 12 CNC turning and milling centres with up to over 300 tools in the magazine and zero-point clamping systems, several saws and an EDM machine are available. Programming is done at the machine or via CAD-CAM software. A wide variety of metals and plastics are processed; the company's own 3D printer is used to produce prototypes, first samples and precise seals. Customers include companies from the oil and chemical industries, agricultural, construction and packaging machinery engineering, hydraulic steel construction, food technology, shipbuilding, automotive and medical technology. Surface treatments are placed via a partner network; delivery is made up to 120 km with own transport resources, beyond that by forwarding agent.
