About Us

Laser Maag GmbH in Herisau specializes in precision and micro laser welding. The company performs repairs, modifications, restorations, and new manufacturing of the smallest components, including tools and molds for the machine industry, surgical instruments for medical technology, as well as jewelry and parts for optics. Modern laser welding systems are used; additionally, a mobile laser welding system is available for on-site deployments directly at the customer's location. The founder and managing director is the trained dental technician Rolf Maag, who originally introduced laser technology as an alternative to soldering in dental technology and, parallel to the dental laboratory, founded Laser Maag. In 2000, the company moved its business premises to the Huber & Suhner AG site in the West Industrial Area in Herisau, Degersheimerstrasse 14.
