About Lasermed
Lasermed is an ophthalmology network headquartered in Berlin, founded in 1998 by Dr. med. Thomas Pahlitzsch. The network includes two eye clinics (including the Augenklinik am Wittenbergplatz and the Augenklinik im Ring-Center), eight eye laser centers in Berlin, and more than 15 ophthalmology practices and medical care centers (MVZ). The range of services covers conservative ophthalmology, eye laser treatments (ReLEx SMILE, Femto-LASIK, LASIK, PRK), lens surgery, cataract surgery with femtosecond laser, glaucoma diagnostics and therapy, retinal and vitreous surgery, corneal transplants, and eyelid surgery. According to its own figures, around 170,000 eye operations and more than 250,000 laser treatments have been performed to date. According to its own statements, the network is the largest ophthalmology network in Berlin and Brandenburg. It is a medical service provider, not a manufacturing company.
