LASERVORM – Laser technology, manufacturing technology and machine engineering since 1994
LASERVORM GmbH is a medium-sized company for laser material processing founded in 1994 in Mittweida, with headquarters in Altmittweida, Saxony. The company offers two business divisions: the construction of laser machines (base machines and customer-specific special machines) and laser contract manufacturing as a job-shop manufacturer. The technological focus lies in laser welding, partial laser hardening and laser cladding with powder or wire filler; additionally, laser fine cutting, laser cleaning, laser drilling and laser stripping of flat cables are offered. For contract manufacturing, 14 self-developed laser systems are in use – from a manual workstation and the compact LV Mini to a gantry system for workpieces up to two tonnes. Production ranges from one-off pieces and prototypes through sample parts and series start-up to quality-assured large-scale series; processed materials include steels, aluminium, selected plastics as well as ceramics, glasses and technical textiles in special processes. Customers come from, among others, the automotive industry, drive technology, sensor technology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, energy technology, mechanical engineering and aerospace. In addition to manufacturing and machine building, LASERVORM offers technology consulting, process development as well as service, maintenance and remote diagnostics over the entire life cycle of the systems.
