Family-owned company for engine assemblies in the aftermarket
LASO – Arthur Langenhan GmbH & Co. KG is a specialist factory for automotive spare parts based in Olpe in the Sauerland region. Since 1965, the family-owned company has been manufacturing sophisticated engine assemblies such as oil and coolant pumps for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses, construction machinery, marine engines and industrial engines. Production takes place at the manufacturing site in Germany using state-of-the-art machinery and the machining processes of milling and turning; this is complemented by assembly of complete modules, warehousing and the in-house development of spare parts. All products are continuously checked with the latest testing and measuring methods for dimensional accuracy, hardness, surface condition and geometric precision; sensitive assemblies such as oil pumps are 100 percent tested on LASO's own test stations. The spare parts meet all the requirements of the most advanced technology and are indistinguishable from the original in function and appearance – including for older model series. LASO supplies customers worldwide on all continents and is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

History
- 1965
Foundation of LASO in the Sauerland region by Arthur Langenhan together with his son Gisbert; initially production and sale of water pump repair kits for passenger cars
Construction of a new company building and later extension; steady growth of workforce, machinery and business
Today managed by the third generation of the family and still based at the manufacturing site in Germany
