About Lasu-tec
Lasu-tec GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturing service provider based in Lüdenscheid in the Sauerland region of North Rhine-Westphalia, specialising in laser welding, 3D laser cutting, sheet metal processing, CNC machining and additive manufacturing. The company produces welded assemblies from small to large series, cuts 3D geometries such as deep-drawn parts, profiles and tubes, and performs laser deposition welding for the repair of parting edges and high-gloss surfaces in tool and mould making. In addition, Lasu-tec offers laser engraving, sheet metal finishing (deburring, vibratory finishing, electropolishing, painting, powder coating, galvanising), 3D/5-axis milling as well as 3D scanning and reverse engineering. Materials include steel, stainless steel, aluminium and copper; for copper welding, highly automated Trumpf systems are used. Customers include the automotive industry, electrical industry, HVAC and energy technology, medical technology, aerospace as well as mechanical and plant engineering. Design of laser welding fixtures, purchasing logistics, batch traceability and weld seam analysis round out the service portfolio.

Quality and Inspection
Component inspection is carried out using inspection plans, metallographic weld seam analyses according to DIN EN ISO 17639 / DIN EN ISO 13919-1 as well as 3D scanning with a Hexagon Absolute Arm (7 axes, 3.5 m measuring length), up to and including reverse engineering. Every component is documented and archived; batches are traceable across the entire supply chain.
