About Launhardt GmbH
Launhardt GmbH is a family-owned manufacturing company for metal and plastic components located in the Voreifel region. Since its founding in 1997, the company has built up experience in processing these materials and continuously expanded its product portfolio. Its technological core competencies lie in extrusion, stamping and additive manufacturing (3D printing with LS/SLS powder); in the overlap between plastics and metals, components are produced from micro series to large series. The portfolio includes, among other things, steel cable ties, staple prongs, additively manufactured components as well as plastic-coated steel wire nose bridges for face masks. In addition to production, Launhardt also takes on labor-intensive steps such as post-processing, packaging and sorting work. In the ReFlaM-LS research project, the company is developing recyclable and flame-retardant powder materials for 3D printing together with partners such as Paderborn University, Weidmüller and Siemens Healthineers.
