About the Lausitzer Gruppe
The Lausitzer Gruppe is a family-owned, owner-managed company with approximately 130 employees that has specialized in fruit processing for over 100 years. The company manufactures fruit preparations, beverages and base ingredients and offers co-packing / contract bottling as a service for industrial customers. The products are sold under its own brands as well as consumer goods for food retail, hotels, gastronomy and catering. In its own innovation laboratory, the company develops new product recipes and product concepts together with customers. The production site is located in Sohland in the Lausitz region; in 2022, a new steam boiler production plant was commissioned there to improve energy efficiency. In recent years, the Lausitzer Gruppe has developed into one of the larger operations in the food industry in eastern Germany.
