About Laverana
Laverana GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1987 by Thomas Haase in Rethen near Hanover and produces natural cosmetics under the lavera brand name. The range comprises around 250 products for facial care, body care, hair care and make-up for all skin types, genders and age groups. The products are sold in drugstores, in retail and online and are available in over 40 countries. The products carry the NATRUE seal as a certification for natural cosmetics; since 2020 all products have been certified cruelty-free according to the PETA standard. The company employs around 500 people at three sites in the Hanover region. Annual revenue was estimated at around 232.8 million euros in 2020.
