About us
LB Kunststofftechnik GmbH, based in Korschenbroich, specialises in custom plastic functional parts and housings. Its range of services includes design and engineering, prototype construction, tool and mould making as well as injection moulding series production, supplemented by an add-on programme for assembly and supply of components. In its own toolmaking department, moulds are manufactured using 3D CNC milling, CNC turning, surface and cylindrical grinding and die sinking EDM, among other processes; machine capacity extends up to 530 tonnes. For injection moulding series production, plastics, elastomers and silicones are processed; typical series volumes are approx. 500 to 25,000 units per year. Engineering is carried out in-house using 3D CAD software including Moldflow simulation. The company sees itself as a development partner and accompanies projects from design optimisation through free prototypes and initial sample inspection to series production.
