About us
LCA Automation AG is a Swiss technology company headquartered in Küssnacht am Rigi that has been developing and building customised production and test systems since 1972. As a general contractor, the company delivers turnkey systems: forming and assembly systems, machining portals and test rigs, complemented by in-house system software, commissioning, maintenance, retrofit and spare parts manufacturing. The systems are planned, designed and built entirely in the assembly halls in Küssnacht, then delivered worldwide and integrated at the customer's site. Industries served include automotive suppliers, construction and building services engineering, medical devices, the food industry, public transport and aviation; long-standing customers include thyssenkrupp Presta and Sika. With around 70 employees at three sites (Küssnacht, Shanghai, Puebla), LCA is part of SHL Advantec AG, a subsidiary group of SHL Medical AG based in Zug.

Foundation of LCA Automation AG in Obfelden (ZH) for the development and manufacture of special machinery.
- 1973
Sale of LCA Maschinenbau to André R. Röthlisberger-Federer by Heberlein & Co. AG.
