LCP Laser-Cut-Processing GmbH is a family-run laser competence center in Hermsdorf, Thuringia, specializing in the laser micro-machining of delicate, geometrically complex and sensitive components made of metallic as well as hard-brittle special materials. The service portfolio includes laser fine cutting, laser welding, laser drilling (including ULTRA ultrashort-pulse and water-jet-guided laser technology), laser scribing, laser structuring, laser marking, wafer dicing, and mechanical post-processing such as precision bending, vibratory finishing (tumbling) and glass bead blasting. Materials processed include high-performance ceramics (Al2O3, AlN, SiN, SiC, LTCC, piezo ceramics), glass, silicon, stainless steel and copper foils, electrical steel sheets, titanium and plastics such as polyimide. Customer industries include sensor technology & systems, power electronics, e-mobility & energy, precision mechanics & apparatus engineering, medical technology, microfluidics, the semiconductor and electronics industries as well as aerospace. With around 70 employees, LCP operates as a job shop producing everything from one-off pieces and prototypes to series production, and runs a materials service with more than 600 items held in stock.
