About Le Patron
Le Patron is a Swiss manufacturer of chilled premium gourmet and convenience products based in Böckten (BL) and a part of the ORIOR Group. The core range includes handcrafted pastries (pâtés) and terrines, as well as fresh pasta, gourmet dishes, side dishes, desserts, apéro snacks, specialties such as meat in pastry and herb butter, plus a plant-based range. In the company's own pastry bakery, doughs are folded, farce is filled in, aspic holes are cut and the pastries are baked; terrines are created layer by layer with aspic. The products are pasteurized and offered as ultra-fresh menus. Customers include gastronomy, retail and private customers in Switzerland; via Too Good To Go, the company also works against food waste. Since 1972, the company has developed from a small pastry bakery into a specialized food producer with industrial production in Böckten.
