About LEADER Photonics
LEADER Photonics GmbH, based in Villach (Austria), develops, manufactures and distributes portable thermal imaging cameras for firefighting, search and rescue operations and surveillance. The cameras are based on a self-developed infrared core (IR module) with optics and housings specifically designed for firefighting; the products cover a temperature measurement range from -40 °C to +1150 °C and offer three sensitivity modes with automatic switching. The product portfolio includes compact models (TIC 4.1, TIC 4.3) as well as a long-range camera with person detection up to 1000 m (TIC 3.3 LR1000). In addition, the company offers support, user manuals, configuration software, accessories and long-term available spare parts as well as take-back and proper disposal of cameras at end of life. Customers include fire departments, public safety organizations, the navy, risk industries and NGOs; in Austria, distribution is handled among others via the Federal Procurement Agency (BBG) and dealers. The quality and environmental management system is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
