About LED2WORK

LED2WORK GmbH develops and manufactures LED lights for industrial applications: machine lights (surface-mounted, built-in and tube lights), signal lights with RGB technology, workplace lights (flexible-arm, articulated-arm and system lights) as well as LED flex strips with M12 connector. Founded in 2007, the owner-managed company based in Pforzheim is one of the pioneers of LED industrial lighting and manufactures entirely in Germany. The housings are made of aluminium (including die-cast aluminium), stainless steel or polycarbonate, complemented by safety glass (ESG), borosilicate glass and oil-resistant FKM seals; protection ratings up to IP67/IP69K make the lights suitable for use with coolants, chip impact and high-pressure cleaning. With around 60 employees, more than 100,000 lights are assembled per year, with each light being 100% tested under real industrial conditions. Customer industries include mechanical and plant engineering, CNC/machine tools, automation, packaging and woodworking machinery, intralogistics as well as the food/pharma sector; reference customers include TRUMPF, GROB-Werke and KARDEX REMSTAR. Through a worldwide network of specialist dealers and the subsidiary LED2WORK Inc. in Chicago, customers in Europe, America, Asia and Australia are supplied.

Foundation of LED2WORK as a subsidiary arising from the needs of its own manufacturing; pioneer of LED industrial lighting; Jan Schiga with the company since 2007.
2012
Management buy-out: salesperson Jan Schiga takes over in June; 5 employees, EUR 1.2 million revenue; first LED system light with direct AC connection.
