Lefort S.A. is a family-run industrial company founded in 1947, headquartered in Gosselies (Belgium), specialising in the design and manufacture of machines for the recycling of metal scrap. The product range includes shear presses in stationary, mobile, wheeled and tracked versions (TRAX, patented) with cutting forces from 600 to 2,000 tonnes, balers with one or two sliding cylinders for end-of-life vehicles (ELV) and light scrap, as well as hammer mills with capacities of up to 3,000 HP for processing ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Product lines include Konkeror, Konkest, Koloss, Lidex, Trax and P6000/KAR6000. Hydraulic cylinders are manufactured in-house in a dedicated production line and equip all shears and presses. In addition to new machine manufacturing, the company offers retrofit and overhauls, a spare parts warehouse with around 35,000 references, technical support, transport and installation, financing and a training centre. The sales network includes subsidiaries in the UK, France, the USA and Germany as well as dealers in 45 countries. Customers come from the scrap and auto dismantling industries as well as waste management.
