About Lehmannaudio
Lehmannaudio Vertriebs GmbH was founded in 1988 as "Entec" in Cologne by sound engineering student Norbert Lehmann, and develops and manufactures high-end audio equipment for discerning music lovers and professional users. The product range includes phono preamplifiers (including Black Cube, Silver Cube, Decade), headphone amplifiers (including the Linear series, Drachenfels) as well as preamplifiers and power amplifiers, complemented by accessories such as equipment bases and headphone stands. All products are developed and manufactured exclusively in Germany; casings such as that of the Silver Cube are milled from solid aluminium blocks, and accessories are made from acrylic glass, CDF panels and cork. The company also offers service, repairs and upgrades (e.g. board updates) for delivered units. Distribution is via specialist retailers and distributors worldwide; customers include private users as well as professional studios such as the Dutch mastering studio "The Masters" and Sennheiser, which used the Linear amplifiers at IFA 2005. Since 2018 the company has been based again in Cologne on Waltherstraße.
