About Schleusner

Lehmbaustoffe Schleusner & Söhne GmbH is a family-run manufacturer of ecological building materials made from clay and hemp, based in Schönhausen (Elbe). The product range includes hemp-clay building panels in 10, 14 and 22 mm thickness, clay plasters (fine, top, universal and base plaster) to DIN 18947, hemp-clay bricks 2DF to DIN 18945, hemp-clay dry loose fill, earth-moist hemp rammed clay and sprayable clay. The clay building panels have been produced since 2018 on a 75-metre-long production line in a continuous endless process with 3 m production width; the reinforcement has been made entirely of jute fabric since 2024. Since 2022, panel production has been running in three-shift operation, complemented by an automatic storage system with more than 350 storage slots for clay dry plasters. Customers include tradespeople, building material retailers, planners and industrial customers in Germany and all of Europe; in addition, the company delivers clay plasters via mobile silo technology in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. In 2025, the mark of 1 million m² of produced clay building panels was exceeded.
