About Leicht & Appel
Aluminium bottles have been manufactured in Bad Gandersheim since 1908; since 1971, Leicht & Appel GmbH has continued this tradition. The company is a specialist supplier of seamless aluminium bottles and cans made of pure aluminium in volumes from 10 ml to 30,500 ml, produced exclusively in Germany. In addition to its standard range, the company manufactures technical extrusion parts, deep-drawn parts and metal spinning work to customer specifications, as well as bottles, cans and special containers made to individual customer requirements. Since 2009, industrial cleaning services have been offered: degreasing, pickling and washing, including a special pickling process that achieves purity classes otherwise only possible with glass bottles. The UN-certified bottles with dangerous goods approval for rail, sea, road and air transport are used for transporting hazardous substances; the in-house developed closure systems System 35 UN and System 51 UN do not require intermediate sealing plugs. Customers come from the pharmaceutical industry, the flavours and fragrances industry, fine chemicals, hazardous substances applications, defence, laboratories, pharmacies and research institutes as well as the consumer market.
