Company

LEINA-WERKE GmbH is a medium-sized family business founded in Cologne in 1964, headquartered in Windeck/Sieg, specialising in the development and manufacture of first-aid products. The product range includes wound dressings such as bandages, compresses, dressings, cotton wool, gauze bandage and swabs, vehicle first-aid kits and bags to DIN 13164/13157/13169, workplace first-aid kits and bags, plaster products and, since 1993, warning triangles. Processing uses materials such as cotton gauze, cellulose pulp, nonwoven fabric, ABS plastic, nylon and coated polyester fabric; sterile-classified medical devices of risk class I are manufactured in an in-house sterilisation plant. The products are used in the automotive industry, where the company acts as an original equipment manufacturer and development partner, as well as in workplace safety and in hobby and leisure. In addition to its own brand, the company offers private-label manufacturing from a minimum order quantity of 100 units. Production takes place at three plants in Windeck as well as in Lovcice (Czech Republic) and Bielsko-Biala (Poland); logistics centres are located in Windeck and Pegnitz.
