LEKON Industrial Parts is a manufacturer-independent specialist for the analysis and remediation of recurring pump failures. The company analyzes failure patterns on pumps and mechanical seals, determines the underlying failure mechanisms and derives technical measures from them – from the repair and reconstruction of mechanical seals to material and design optimization and pump replacement and retrofit with dimensioning for the operating point and energy demand. With the UNI concept, a 5-step process consisting of failure analysis, root cause examination, load assessment, validation and MTBF maximization, system changes are implemented to increase service life. For sealing technology, PTFE and elastomer components are used, among others; seals that are no longer available are reproduced via reverse engineering.
