About LeMaitre
LeMaitre (until 2021 LeMaitre Vascular) is a globally active manufacturer of disposable and implantable medical devices as well as services for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease. Founded in 1983 by vascular surgeon George D. LeMaitre and headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts (USA), the company produces, among other things, the valvulotome, embolectomy catheters, occlusion catheters, vascular patches and collagen vascular prostheses. Through the RestoreFlow Allografts division, cryopreserved human vascular allografts (saphenous vein, femoral artery, aortoiliac arteries) are also processed, stored and distributed. The products are used in open vascular surgery and minimally invasive procedures, in particular for peripheral bypasses, dialysis access and the treatment of aortic infections. LeMaitre supplies over 90 countries, 31 of them via direct sales with more than 160 sales representatives and over 65 countries through distributors. The headquarters is located in Burlington (USA); the European center of LeMaitre Vascular GmbH is in Sulzbach/Ts. near Frankfurt am Main, and the Asia-Pacific center is in Singapore. The company is listed on the NASDAQ.
