LEMO Maschinenbau GmbH was founded in 1949 by Michael Lehmacher in Niederkassel as an engraving shop and apparatus engineering company and is today an owner-managed manufacturer of film welding machines and machines for processing flexible films and composites. Over 6,800 machines delivered to more than 70 countries attest to the company's international presence. All film packaging machines are planned to customer specifications, manufactured and pre-assembled at the Niederkassel site; special solutions are integrated as required. The product range includes the INTERmat, ROLLOmat, CAPmat and ADDmat machine series as well as robot-based carton packaging, automated core feeding and process-automated marking and traceability. Target industries are hygiene, medicine and care, food and beverages, logistics and security, industrial packaging and disposal, as well as carrier bags. In addition, LEMO offers customer-specific research and development, spare parts service and technical customer support.
