About Lenz Apparatebau AG

Lenz Apparatebau AG, headquartered in 9203 Niederwil SG (Switzerland), specialises in the manufacture of custom parts of all kinds. The company was founded in 1959 as Lenz mechanical workshop in Ufhofen near Niederwil and is specialised in the production of individual parts and small series, constructions as well as special machinery. Machines that are mostly computer-controlled permit all mechanical and technical operations for the manufacture of custom parts and assemblies: CNC turning and CNC milling, conventional turning and milling, decoltage of Ø5–55 mm, stamping with 35/80 t, brazing in series, trowalising (vibratory finishing), dot marking and assembly (contract assembly of Lekü connectors). Materials processed include steel, copper and Teflon (plastic). Customers include companies from machinery and apparatus engineering, electrical engineering, metal construction, staircase construction, environmental technology as well as solar and heating technology. In addition, the company develops and markets its own products such as the carrot cutting machine, the Lasca quilting device and the Zahnblitz. Development and production continue to this day in the building at Flawilerstrasse 10, which was occupied in 1968.
