Leo Metzinger – Mechanik Blockfertigung is a sole proprietorship located in Homburg/Jägersburg in Saarland. The company manufactures hydraulic control blocks using block machining, as well as mechanical parts, turned parts, and milled parts for customers in hydraulics and mechanical engineering. The value chain includes sawing, CNC milling, conventional turning and boring up to the horizontal drilling machine, as well as surface grinding and final coordinate measuring. The core of the machine park is a Hermle UWF 1001 CNC machining center with a working area of X 700, Y 550, and Z 500 mm; additionally, there is a Wotan B75M horizontal drilling machine, coordinate and production drills, and an Olivetti Inspektor 26 coordinate measuring machine. Parts up to approx. 700 kg table load can be processed. Manufacturing is done on a per-order basis for quantities ranging from single pieces to series.
