About Leo-Plast

Leo-Plast GmbH is a manufacturer of ready-to-install swimming pools and plastic containers made of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), based in Ruhland (Brandenburg) since 1996. The product range includes custom-made pools in any shape – skimmer, rectangular, oval, round and free-form pools – with dimensions up to 11 m in length and 3.60 m in width, complemented by standard pools. In addition, the company manufactures plastic containers such as feeding troughs, non-pressurised expansion tanks as well as immersion and Kneipp basins. The pools are made from six-millimetre-thick PP sheets, produced exclusively for the company in Rhineland-Palatinate, in four work steps up to the fully assembled pool. The PP used is certified for drinking water, temperature-resistant from -40 °C to +50 °C, UV-resistant, suitable for salt water, free of plasticisers and epoxy resins, and features a slip-inhibiting, scratch-resistant surface. Plastic waste from production is shredded and recycled into new sheets, so no waste is generated. The products comply with the swimming pool standard DIN EN 16582-1 and are sold predominantly in Germany.
