About LERCHNER

LERCHNER Alternative Heizsysteme GmbH develops and produces customer-specific heat pump systems in Mildenau in the Erzgebirge region for housing associations, industry and commerce, public institutions and private customers. The systems operate on the principle of direct condensation: the heated refrigerant (hot gas) is routed directly into copper coils in the buffer tank, which thereby serve as a large heat exchanger. This eliminates an external heat exchanger, reduces heat losses and, under optimal conditions, lowers energy consumption by around 20 percent compared with standard heat pumps. The patented use of hot gas also enables hygienic domestic hot water preparation in a flow-through principle without an additional drinking water tank. Production is carried out in small series and order-related one-off production, with output and tank size adapted to the respective conditions. The product range comprises nine sizes (WPS 1-7 to WPS 1-54) with outputs from 7.2 to 54.8 kW (B0/W35). The company is prepared for smart grids and offers remote maintenance via LAN as well as service and maintenance.
