The company, headquartered at Kurfürstenstraße 112 in Berlin, is run by the two managing directors Nurlan Mukash and Felix Willeke together with a team of more than 80 employees. The programme includes private train journeys such as the Trans-Siberian Railway, Orient Silk Road Express, African Explorer through Southern Africa, and Al Andalus on the Iberian Peninsula, as well as boutique cruises on the Mekong and the Amazon. The company was founded in 1986, when founder Hans Engberding organised a Russian language course on the Trans-Siberian Railway. The journeys are carried out in cooperation with reliable partners and accompanied by tour guides, lectures and excursions; tailor-made individual travel complements the offering.
