About the cooperative

Les Paniers de la Mule is an agricultural cooperative (Coopérative) based in Prilly in the canton of Vaud. The cooperative runs a vegetable farm (Ferme maraîchère) in Prilly and provides organic vegetables from seasonal, local cultivation. Members receive a subscribed vegetable basket weekly or fortnightly, which can be collected at the Tuesday market in front of the Four à Pain in Prilly or at one of the collection points in the Lausanne agglomeration. The project is participatory in orientation: members contribute two to four half-days per year to field work, basket preparation or processing. The cooperative is financed through non-redeemable business shares of 200 CHF per member, subscriptions and voluntary additional shares.
