About Leukhardt Schaltanlagen
Leukhardt Schaltanlagen GmbH, headquartered in Immendingen (southern Germany), develops, engineers and manufactures custom switchgear for medium and low voltage as well as transformer protective enclosures and neutral-point enclosures for indoor and outdoor applications. The product portfolio includes the type-tested systems Basis Block MC 1, MC 3 and MC 3 S (metal-enclosed, air-insulated, per IEC 62271-200), the low-voltage switchgear systems Vario Block TN, TN-S and TN-V (per IEC 61439, with passive and active arc-fault testing) as well as the Energie Block TEB systems for cast-resin transformers. The medium-voltage technology avoids climate-harmful substances such as SF6 or gas mixtures. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers engineering services with CAE/CAD systems (EPLAN, ProE, Solidworks), grid calculations and grid analyses as well as installation, commissioning and maintenance. The systems for industry, plant engineering, energy suppliers and public-sector clients are delivered worldwide under country-specific standards, among others to Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Since 2025, the company has been part of VINCI Energies.

Processes and Technology
Medium-voltage switchgear
Type-tested air-insulated, metal-enclosed switchgear (Basis Block MC 1, MC 3, MC 3 S) per IEC 62271-200, max. 24 kV, up to 4000 A.
Low-voltage switchgear
Highly flexible modular systems (Vario Block TN, TN-S, TN-V) per IEC 61439, max. 690 V, with fixed mounting or withdrawable design.
Protective enclosures indoor/outdoor
Systems for cast-resin transformers up to 2000 kVA (TEB, TEB-S) and neutral-point enclosures for outdoor installation.
SF6-free technology
Avoidance of climate-harmful substances such as SF6 or gas mixtures in medium-voltage production.
Engineering with EPLAN, ProE, Solidworks
Custom engineering based on type-tested standards as well as grid calculations (short-circuit, load flow, selectivity).

Additional services
Quality
The quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015; all switchgear also undergo type-tested standard tests (IEC 62271-200, IEC 61439) and, in part, separate arc-fault tests. Factory Acceptance Tests prior to delivery ensure product quality.
