About HLM

Leuthold Mechanik AG (HLM) is a Swiss mechanical engineering company founded in 1974 and headquartered in Einsiedeln. From the small mechanical workshop of its founding years, the company has grown into an enterprise with 175 employees and worldwide connections. HLM designs and manufactures custom special machines, tools and testing systems, specializing in systems for producing thin-walled aluminium packaging. Its core competence encompasses metalworking with turning, milling/drilling, grinding and EDM at machining accuracies below 0,002 mm, complemented by toolmaking, contract manufacturing and series production in 3-shift operation. In its own Competence Center, systems can be tested in a monitored test environment before integration at the customer's site. Customers come from the packaging, food, automotive, aerospace and medical technology industries. On 20'000 m² of operating space, development, manufacturing, assembly, installation and training are offered from a single source.
