Water treatment from Sonneberg – since 1992
Leyco Wassertechnik GmbH is a medium-sized manufacturer of industrial water treatment systems based in Föritztal (Sonneberg district, Thuringia). Founded in 1992, the company develops and produces regenerable ion exchange cartridges, pressure vessels, water softeners, filter technology, accessories and conductivity meters for industry, commerce, medicine and engineering. In-house, the systems are configured, filled and tested; exhausted ion exchangers are reprocessed in the company's own regeneration plant using cascade regeneration – including third-party products such as commercially available exchanger types, drum goods and tanks. The cartridges are made of stainless steel (1.4571, 1.4404) or plastics such as PP, PU, POM and PC. Customers come from laboratories, medical technology, the optical industry, the automotive industry, the energy sector (including hydrogen production), building services, gastronomy, wholesale and OEM. With over 2,000 products, around 6,000 customers and 25+ employees, Leyco supplies customers throughout Germany, with cartridge replacement within 24 hours.
