About us
LHB Lufttechnischer Handelsbedarf GmbH is a wholesale distributor for ventilation technology and ventilation accessories based in Altdorf near Nuremberg. Founded in 1995, the company distributes components, parts and units for air and climate technology from well-known manufacturers such as Trox, Schako, Helios, Aereco, Strulik, Lindab, Emco, Meltem, Rosenberg, Systemair and Westaflex – partly ex stock, at short notice from the manufacturer or as custom-made products. The range includes, among other things, fire protection products, fans, single-room and decentralized ventilation, air filters, heat recovery systems, actuator motors, ducts, fittings and spiral-wound ducts, air door curtains as well as fabric hose air distribution systems. In addition to trade, LHB offers technical consulting, planning support for air conditioning and ventilation systems, stock warehousing, a delivery service and training courses in cooperation with manufacturers. From its location in the business park on the A6, the team of around 10 people serves customers throughout Germany.

- 1995
Foundation in March 1995 by Helmut Böhm, Klaus Delling and Bernd Fischer in rented premises at Werkstraße 13 in the Altdorf-Ludersheim industrial area; 8 months after founding, shareholder and managing director Helmut Böhm passes away.
- 1999
Move to larger premises at Werkstraße 17.
- 2000
Hiring of the first commercial apprentice; expansion of the product range to include air door curtains, filters and roof weather protection grilles.
- 2003
Move to even larger premises at Werkstraße 18.
- 2005
Team reinforcement by one commercial and one technical employee (2005/2006).
- 2008
Hiring of an apprentice as wholesale merchant (final examination 2011).

Additional technical employee for inside and field sales; permanent staff of 8 people at year-end.
