About LHY Powertrain
LHY Powertrain develops, produces and distributes modular drive systems consisting of hydraulics, power transmission and electronics. The product portfolio includes axial piston pumps and motors, directional control valves, valve blocks, hydrostatic transmissions as well as electronics and software. Production takes place at German sites: the Nilkheim plant in Aschaffenburg produces hydraulics and electronics for drive systems, AB-GUSStech GmbH at the Aschaffenburg Schweinheim plant manufactures cast components for hydraulics and mechanical engineering, and the Ballenstedt plant produces valves and components. A further production plant is located in Weifang (China). Customers are manufacturers of mobile work machinery in the fields of construction, agriculture and forestry, mining, municipal vehicles, material handling, offshore as well as industrial applications such as presses. The company was founded in 1904, employs around 1400 staff and is represented by approximately 80 sales and service partners in more than 50 countries. Since 2012 it has been 90 % owned by Weichai Power; KION Group holds 10 %.
