LIAG® LÄUFER International AG is an owner-managed company and, since its founding in 1996, a specialized manufacturer of hygienic process valves and pigging systems for the processing of sensitive and highly viscous media. The portfolio includes bend valves, pigging diverters, check valves, swivel unions, sight glasses, CIP tank outlet valves, valves for in-line metal detectors as well as the LIAG® DMV pigging system. In addition, the company develops special solutions such as leak detection of the movable O-ring seal and provides customized system solutions and process units. Production takes place at the site in Salem on Lake Confluence (Bodensee), predominantly in stainless steel — a broad range of sterile components, special valves and process units Made in Germany. The products are used in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries. Through an international sales network, the company supplies customers in Europe, America, Africa, Asia as well as Australia/New Zealand; in 2016, a 100% sales subsidiary, LAUFER Valve Technology Inc. (LVT), was founded in the USA.
