About Licatec
Founded in 1970, the Licatec Group is an owner-managed medium-sized company with four subsidiaries at three locations in Germany. The product portfolio includes LED luminaires (recessed luminaires, downlights, damp-proof luminaires, aluminium light line systems, industrial and mast luminaires) as well as cable management systems such as wiring ducts, installation and parapet ducts, cable trays, wire-mesh trays and cable ladders. At the Gevelsberg site, Licatec Profilextrusion GmbH manufactures plastic profiles using the extrusion process. Materials include rigid PVC, halogen-free plastics (PC-ABS), aluminium, sendzimir-galvanized sheet steel, steel wire, stainless steel (V4A) and glass-fibre reinforced polyester (GRP). In addition to the standard range, the company offers cutting to drawing, pre-assembled sets, light line assembly, lighting calculations according to RELUX and load calculations for cable support systems. Customers come from electrical installation, electrical wholesale, machinery and switchgear construction, chemicals, metallurgy, tunnel construction, port facilities and the food industry; deliveries are made throughout Europe via foreign representatives.
