About Licht+Raum
Licht+Raum AG was founded in 1984 by Beat Kaufmann and develops its own interior luminaires at its Urtenen-Schönbühl site for the education, care and office sectors. All products are developed in-house by a team of industrial designers, engineers and electrical and production technicians. Order-related manufacturing takes place in Switzerland through the long-standing social-economy production partners GEWA Stiftung and Werkstätten Bern of UPD; quality control is carried out by Licht+Raum. Materials processed include aluminium (also bent aluminium sheet), acrylic glass (PMMA), extruded plastic, textiles and wood. The product range includes series such as DISC, MONA, RHO, ARNO, LARS and the patented closure systems LR.click and LR.snap. The offering is complemented by lighting design, lighting calculations, lighting control, sampling, installation, programming as well as service and maintenance.
