About us
Since 1990, Lichtenberger Fleisch- und Wurstproduktion GmbH has been producing meat and sausage specialties in Berlin-Lichtenberg, continuing the tradition of the former Delikat production. The range comprises more than 100 products, including smoked sausages, bratwurst, scalded sausage sliced products, cooked sausage, fresh raw sausage, cooked-cured and roast products as well as raw cured goods, offered as both counter-served and self-service products. The entire value chain – from goods receipt through raw material processing and preparation, smoking, cooking and baking to packaging and shipping – takes place in the company's own production facility on Josef-Orlopp-Straße on 5,400 m² of production space. Raw materials are fresh beef and pork from Berlin and Brandenburg from selected slaughterhouses. Customers are primarily food retail and wholesale, specialist butcher shops and resellers; end consumers buy at the company's own factory outlet. The company employs 81 staff and is run by the Kempkes and Kohn families.
