About lid pro GmbH
lid pro GmbH specializes in converting existing luminaires to LED technology — "light and design — intelligently combined". The company develops and assembles retrofit kits that replace conventional lamps such as mercury, sodium, metal halide, fluorescent and low-pressure sodium lamps. All products are manufactured in Germany (Made in Germany). The kits are tested, CE-compliant and fully assembled with magnetic mounts and plug connectors, so existing luminaires can be retrofitted without structural modifications. In its own light laboratory, luminous flux, efficiency and, optionally, the luminous intensity distribution curve are analyzed — before and after the retrofit. Development engineers handle design services and customized special solutions, from planning to the finished product. Target groups include industrial lighting as well as street and roadway lighting, and interior spaces such as offices, schools and clinics. According to the brochure, LED retrofitting reduces energy costs by 60–90 %, and the service life is at least 50,000 hours.
