About Lifelike Prosthetics
Lifelike Prosthetics GmbH from Luckenwalde (Brandenburg) develops and manufactures custom silicone covers for arm and hand prostheses. The portfolio includes the product lines Myra Skin N°1, N°2 and YU as well as the manually adjustable inner hand Neo Hand. Production is carried out as a patient-specific custom-made product based on a high-resolution 3D scan, photos and color scans, as well as a molding impression taken with special silicone. The covers are made from highly flexible silicone and can optionally be equipped with acrylic fingernails, a glide coating (Slide impregnation) and seasonal color variants. Assembly and fitting are performed by orthopedic technicians and medical supply stores; the company also supports patients with applications and cost coverage. As part of an EFRE-funded project, the company is optimizing its production process for broader availability. Winner of the Brandenburg Innovation Award 2024.
