LifeTech Water Solutions, based in Dortmund, develops and markets systems for chemical-free water treatment and well regeneration based on high-frequency ultrasound. At the core of the technology is an ultrasound reactor that destroys organic substances through cavitation, reduces pathogenic substances, and inactivates pharmaceutical residues as well as hormonally active substances — entirely without chemical additives. For the regeneration of iron-clogged groundwater wells, a patented ultrasound probe is used that dissolves deposits without chemicals and without mechanical stress on the well structure. The portfolio includes customized industrial systems for process and wastewater, mobile solar-powered trailer systems (Mobil2 to Mobil4) with a treatment capacity from 1,500 liters per hour, and the home system PA2 for private households. The systems can be flexibly integrated into existing water infrastructures and extended with UV and ozone technology. Areas of application include municipalities and waterworks, industry and factories with wastewater, the beverage industry, well and spring water systems, agricultural irrigation, hotels and clinics, as well as crisis regions. The company is organized as a GmbH in formation and is building up its sales operations in Germany and the United Kingdom.
