About Light Progress
Since 1987, Light Progress has been researching, developing, designing and manufacturing UV-C radiation systems for the disinfection of air, water and surfaces at its own site in Anghiari (Tuscany, Italy). The product portfolio comprises around 200 UV-C products, including in-duct and AHU modules for air disinfection (UV-DUCT, UV-RACK, UV-STICK), UV-C sterilization reactors for water treatment, disinfection containers such as UV-BOX, as well as systems for grease and odor removal with photocatalytic TIOX filters based on nanostructured titanium dioxide. The housings are made primarily of stainless steel AISI 304/304L and aluminum (anodized or epoxy powder-coated); lamps are protected by quartz sleeves. In addition to standard products, the company develops customized OEM solutions, including one-off items, with sizing performed using its own software (UV-CALC/AIRCALC). Fields of application include healthcare, HVAC/air conditioning, the food and pharmaceutical industries, Ho.Re.Ca., as well as large spaces and transportation. Sales branches exist in Aschaffenburg (Germany) and Coppell, Texas (USA); the quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.

Steel AISI 304L
Used for pressure-rated UV-C sterilization reactors of the UV-WATER series.
Aluminum, anodized
Housings and reflectors of the UV-STICK series with mirror-finish reflector surfaces.
Aluminum with epoxy powder coating
Housing material of the UV-BOX disinfection containers.
Quartz
Protective sleeves for UV-C lamps, e.g. in UV-STYLO-E-C for cold-protection insulation.
Polycarbonate (UV-resistant)
Transparent viewing windows and components of the UV-BOX series.
LEXAN (UV-resistant, transparent)
UV-resistant transparent material for disinfection containers.
Titanium dioxide (nanostructured, TIOX)
Photocatalytic filter coating with silver salts for breaking down VOCs and NOx in extraction systems.
UV-resistant plastics
Material for devices exposed to UV-C treatment.
