About Lightera
Lightera is a provider of optical network infrastructure solutions. The portfolio includes fiber optic cables, InvisiLight® solutions, main and optical distribution frames (MDF/ODF), optical closures and terminals, optical fibers, pre-terminated optical cables, copper network products (CAT.6, CAT.6A), racks, cabinets and patch panels, POL equipment (OLT/ONT) as well as specialty fiber optic cables and connectivity. The solutions are aimed at data centers, communication and industrial networks, telecommunications operators, medical technology, sensing, energy, aerospace, and high-power laser applications. Lightera was formed in 2025 from Furukawa Electric Fiber and Cable, OFS and Furukawa Electric LatAm. The company delivers worldwide to regions including Europe and maintains a presence in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
