About LightnTec
LightnTec develops and manufactures ultra-light, ultra-thin and flexible LED displays on foil substrate (LEDtecFlex™) in Karlsruhe. The ledTec.flex product family comprises the P32 Wallpaper, P16 Banner, P8 Banner and P5 Display series, which can play standard video content. The foils are flexible, cuttable, bright and significantly lighter than conventional LED cabinets (approx. 1/6 of the weight per m²); they transform existing façades, pylons, 18/1 poster frames and retail spaces into digital media platforms. Manufacturing takes place in Karlsruhe; the products are used indoors and outdoors, e.g. in DOOH, architecture, shopping malls, retail, events and stadiums, as well as for custom solutions in automotive, aircraft and rail supply. In addition, LightnTec offers Customized Engineering, turnkey project execution, commissioning and programming, monitoring software, remote maintenance and on-site service, as well as motionTec.sens, an AI analytics solution for 3D people detection and content control. Installed projects exist in more than 16 countries; partnerships include Traxon e:cue (Osram) and, since 2025, i5LED (USA, marketed as Illumiwrap).
