About Lightswingsolar
Lightswingsolar develops and supplies pivoting mounting structures for vertical bifacial photovoltaic modules. The patented concept (application WO2025133727) passively turns the panels into the wind during storms, without a motor or electronics, reducing the wind attack surface fivefold. This enables lighter steel structures and foundations as well as large clearance between ground and modules. The product range includes the versions LS-H-4 (4 panels transverse, approx. 1.8 kWc) and LS-V-8 (8 panels upright, approx. 4 kWc) with flanges for HEA profiles or round tube posts; the load-bearing steel structures made of HEA profiles and round columns can be realized by Lightswingsolar or by a structural engineer. The systems are certified for dynamic wind loads up to 1.1 kN/m² and are suitable for alpine PV plants, long line installations, parking lot canopies, agri-PV as well as areas for agriculture and logistics. Demonstrators were erected in 2024 on screw foundations and in 2026 as an agri-PV pilot plant; in Switzerland the installations qualify for the Pronovo inclined-angle bonus of 200 CHF/kWc.

Quality and certification
The mounting structures are certified for dynamic wind loads up to 1.1 kN/m² and therefore also cover high-alpine locations. The passive damping system works without a motor and electronics and requires no special maintenance.

History
- 2024
October: Demonstrator installed on screw foundations, with 4 panels of 570 Wc each (2278×1134 mm, transverse); from this, development of the LS-V-8 variant with 8 panels upright.
- 2025
Patent application WO2025133727 for the passive pivoting concept filed.
- 2026
October: Agri-PV demonstrator built over crops; planned agronomic study on shading effects over several seasons.
