About LIHSAG
LIHS AG (LIHSAG) was founded in 1992 by Samuel Schmid and specialises in hydraulic elevator installations. The company designs, modernises and repairs all types of hydraulic elevators and implements special systems and custom-built installations in accordance with the Machinery Directive. LIHSAG works exclusively for elevator companies and not for system operators – a principle maintained since the company's foundation. Since 2022, the company has also represented Hydroware in Switzerland. With large spare parts inventories at all locations, the company can respond quickly. In addition to its headquarters in Schwarzenbach SG, LIHSAG operates a site in Sursee LU and a service point in Sédeilles VD, and is thus active throughout Switzerland; the new headquarters building is operated almost energy-autonomously using geothermal energy and photovoltaics.
