LIMAB is a Swedish company founded in 1979 and headquartered in Gothenburg, specializing in non-contact, laser-based measurement systems and sensors for automated quality and process control. The company develops and manufactures systems for dimensional control, defect detection as well as strength, density and moisture measurement, deployed in harsh industrial environments. Industries served include metal production (steel industry), the manufacture of engineered wood panels (MDF, plywood, OSB, particleboard, hardboard), gypsum board production, the sawmill industry and road profiling. In addition to its headquarters in Gothenburg, the company maintains subsidiaries in the UK, Germany and the USA as well as certified partners worldwide. In 2025, LIMAB merged with Dynalyse, an expert in strength grading as well as density and moisture measurement in the wood industry.
