About Limagrain Ingredients
Limagrain Ingredients develops and produces natural ingredients for the food industry, petfood and animal feed manufacturers. The portfolio includes corn flours and corn grits, hominies, wheat flours, special flours from spelt and rye, heat-treated functional flours (Innosense), masa flours for TexMex applications, snack pellets, puffed and roasted cereal grains, bread improvers, blends, premixes, fibers, germs as well as textured plant proteins (Vegesense). The processes range from flour and grits milling to heat treatment, extrusion and puffing, to roasting and pressure cooking. More than 330,000 tonnes of grain are processed annually in seven production sites in Europe; the ingredients are sold in 58 countries. The company belongs to the French agricultural cooperative Limagrain and ensures the traceability of its products through an integrated supply chain from variety selection to ingredient production. An in-house R&D department develops new varieties and ingredients, operates industrial pilot facilities and supports customers in product development.
