About Lindörfer + Steiner
Since 1995, Lindörfer + Steiner GmbH has been developing and manufacturing custom reusable load carriers and transport packaging made from plastic corrugated boards, PE foam and solid plastic material. The portfolio is complemented by steel load carriers from its sister company InnoMetall GmbH as well as steel-plastic combinations. The focus is on a patented process for the thermal forming of corrugated boards; production is tool-free, from one-off pieces to large series. The machine park includes in-house developed laser and abrasive waterjet cutting systems, five-axis milling machines and special machines for corrugated board processing; production waste is recycled in the company's own recycling facility. The products serve the safe transport of sensitive components, particularly in just-in-time and just-in-sequence processes in the automotive industry. The family-run business with over 90 employees produces 100% in Germany on 5,500 m² of production space at two sites in Bretten.

Materials & Processes
Polypropylene (corrugated boards)
Lightweight, water-resistant and recyclable corrugated boards as base material for custom reusable load carriers, also in ESD versions.
Polyethylene (solid material)
Robust solid material made from recycled material or new stock for heavy or sharp-edged components; processed by sawing, milling, welding and mechanical joining.
PE foam (block and composite foams)
Foams available in various densities for shock-absorbing inner packaging and inlays with tight tolerances, milled on five-axis machines.
Steel
Base material of the InnoMetall steel load carriers for heavy loads, high circulation and daily transport.
Aluminium (reinforcement elements)
Metal reinforcements in the corner area increase the load capacity of the LS-HD box.
