About Linn High Temp
Linn High Temp is a manufacturer of resistance, induction and microwave heating systems based in Eschenfelden (Bavaria). Founded in 1969 by Horst Linn sen., the company develops and manufactures furnaces and thermal process systems for applications such as annealing, hardening, tempering, sintering, debinding, calcination, melting, investment casting and crystal growing. The portfolio ranges from laboratory chamber furnaces to protective-gas and vacuum furnaces, high-temperature and high-pressure furnaces (up to 2400 °C, 60–100 bar) and rotary tube furnaces, through to cold-wall induction melting systems for reactive metals such as titanium, tantalum, niobium and molybdenum. For investment casting, vacuum-suitable induction centrifugal casting systems (Supercast, Titancast) are offered; a cooperation with ACCESS e.V. (RWTH Aachen) exists for titanium investment casting. Applications can be found, among others, in the semiconductor industry, ceramics, metallurgy and foundries, medical technology, aerospace, the automotive sector, powder metallurgy (MIM), additive manufacturing, and in the processing of rare earths and of UO2/ThO2. The scope of supply also includes service and training.
